I had a party yesterday and the hostess requested some masculine card ideas.  When it comes to masculine ideas I have decided that I stick with textures and different papers. This is mainly because I don't have a lot of masculine stamps.  I find a template I like and create using that.  Here are 2 templates I like.  Both cards use dp from the Sweet Pea dp .  I really love that pack of paper.  The green card used olive and soft suede, teal and pumpkin cs.  For this card I also put a 1/4th sheet of teal through the big shot/polka dot embossing folder, then cut a thin piece off that to add just a "pop" of color.  The other card is chocolate textured cs, teal, and pumpkin.

Leprechan tutorial

Here is a picture of all the pieces you will need to punch out.  I chose the colors really rust, glorious green, blush blossom and black cardstock.  I used the large tag punch, 1 3/8 circle, 1/2 and 1/4 circle punches.   I also used the scallop circle, 5 petal, and word window punches.

I started by taping the blush blossom word window punched piece to the back of the 1 3/8 circle punch. It will look like his ears.  Then I taped this piece to the really rust scallop circle punch.  Add the 1/2 inch circles for eyes. I used a Q-tip and pastels to add a little pink to the cheeks.

I cut out a 5 petal flower in really rust, then cut off 2 of the leaves to use as his mustache.

I cut a piece of black to put on the large tag in glorious green.  Taped that to the back of the head.  Next, I took the word window punch (in glorious green) and cut a bit off the top, at an angle. Tape it to the front of the hat. Top it off with a 1/4 inch square cut in metallic gold.

This is what it looks like when done.  If you have any questions please feel free to email and ask.

Good Morning Stamping Friends,
Last night was my monthly stamp club and I thought I would share with you the cards we made.  I am really starting to like these cling stamps. They are easy to use and the storage is great.

This card is done with Regal Rose cs , ink and matching grosgrain ribbon. I also used the new pinking heart punch featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.

This card is on Olive textured cs.  I used the Sweet Pea dp featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog along with matching olive grosgrain.

I used real red and pink cs and the Sending Love Specialty dp featured in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I used the Quilting technique and the papers are beautiful.  The picture does not do them justice.  The stamped image is from the With All My Heart stamp set in the mini and punched out with the new Extra large fancy flower punch.  Topped off with a red button and red satin ribbon.

This card used Saffron cs and sweet pea dp.  Pumpkin grosgrain.  Foxes and friends set.

Hope you enjoy and are inspired.

Wow, I cannot believe I have not downloaded pictures in this long. I let the busyness of life get the best of me and have not made the time to download. I stamp, but don't download. I guess this will be a New Years resolution for me. I am loving the new vintage vogue set and matching wheel. Also, I am loving the 2 step bird punch. It makes it sooo easy to create a quick, cute card. Enjoy.

I am thinking spring lately. I am very much ready for warm weather. This card uses bashful blue, olive and rose colors. I don't use bashfull blue all that often, but really liked the "Springy" look of the colors together. I used the Flight of the Butterfly set. I versamarked the paper and covered with iridescent embossing powder. Added a pretties flower and clear rhinestone brad and was done. (don't mind the wrong date, my camera is having issues and I can't change it.)
This card features the Big Shot. I used the texturz plates on the olive green. I stamped the flowers from Botanical Blooms on the top note die cut. I finished it off with a little olive wide grosgrain and some dazzling diamonds. Very simple but pretty. Enjoy
Good Saturday,
I just love Baja Breeze. It is the prettiest blue, and looks great with so many of SU's colors, especially chocolate chip. I stamped the En Francis background stamp first in mustard, sponged the edges, then stamped the flowers from the Live a Dream set. I used textured chocolate chip and dp from the sale a bration pack. I am also using the new Oval All and coordinationg oval scallop punch from the new Occasions Mini Catalog. Just LOVE that new punch. I finished with a felt flower and clear rhinestone brad. Enjoy
