Good Saturday Everyone,
Well, I think the cold is finally coming and staying. We (Wisconsinites) have been blessed with a nice Indian Summer. Now, I think that is over and winter is here. High's only in the 30's. Anyways, here are a few cards I have been working on. I saw this gift card holder design on splitcoast this morning and had to try it out. the website was wildsprinkles.blogspot.com. What a great site. I used the ski slope dp and punch pals set. . The second card is another 4 1/4 by 4 1/4. I just love this size. I used the holiday treasures dp, 5 petal punch and felt fusion 2. Enjoy

Monday, November 10, 2008

I have been working on my cards for my monthly stamp club.  My goal was to use the big shot and the felt flurries. The felt flurries are a lot of fun to play with.  The second card uses the Christmas treasures dp.  I hope you like.

Here is my final post of the day.  This set just screams "use a brayer" I have been seeing this all over and just had to try it.    I brayered mustard, then pumpkin and finally I sponged the edges with ruby red.
I used:
CS:  chocolate, olive and white.
SET:  Inspired by Nature
INK:  mustard, chocolate, pumpkin and ruby red.

Here is another card I have been working on. I just love all the fall colors SU has.  They coordinate so well together.   I used:
SET:  Give Thanks (retired)
CS: chocolate, rust, haiku dp
ACCESSORIES:  choc. grosgrain, word window punch, aqua painter

Good Day Stamper Friends,
It seems ages since I have posted and I feel badly.  I signed up to do my very first craft fair and was sooooo consumed by it. I am happy to say it is over, so hopefully I will get going on the posts.  Here is a card I recently did. I must say I get this idea visiting various blogs. I did change a few things, but cannot take credit for the whole thing.  I am loving this set.  I used:
CS:  chocolate, rust and Haiku dp
INK:  chocolate
SET:  Upsy Daisy
ACCESSORIES:  mat pack, paper pierces, vintage brads, retired olive twill ribbon and sponge.
Thanks for looking

Hello Stamper Friends,
Hope all is well with everyone.  We had a great long weekend in
Carlsbad, CA at my nieces wedding.  I have been working on  getting some more ideas for my upcoming club and camp.  As you can tell I am just LOVING the new designer papers.  They just add so much.
The Lion card uses the sets Wild About You and the Best Yet hostess set. I really like the sayings, they fit in so many of our punches.  The cardstock is choc. chip and Bella Rose dp.  I used the kiwi kiss/vanilla satin ribbon.  I used the white gel pen to put dots around the scallop punch.

The next 2 cards  I tried the splitcoast challenge sc188.  I is so much easlier than it looks.  IF you want to learn how come to my next stamp camp or schedule a party with me to learn this technique and so much more. The kiwi/choc. chop card uses the Hawaii Papaya dp and choc. chip with the Heartfelt Thanks stamp set.  The kiwi/riding hood red card uses Eastern Blooms stamp set.  Enjoy

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

I received my order with some of the new SU "stuff" today.  I couldn't wait to get up to my stamp room and"play"  I love my new designer papers.  In the cards featured today I used the Green Tea DP and  Hawaii Papaya.  I just  LOVE the color combo of the Hawaii Papaya ( choc. chip, tangerine tango and kiwi)  They just POP.  I also used one of my new sets "Eastern Blooms" what a pretty set, I can tell I will be using it often.  Enjoy the ideas.  I will be gone Wed. night until Monday. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend and be safe.

The Bella Rose designer paper(new from SU) is sooo pretty.  This is a card I did at my customer appreciation night.  It is a 4 1/2 x 4 1/2 size card featuring the bella rose dp, 5 petal punch, vintage brads, white grosgrain ribbon and new SU buttons.   It is a bit blurry, sorry. Enjoy

I was checking out the many wonderful blogs out in "blogland" and came across this really neat idea by Andrea Walford, so I had to try it right away myself.  It is a "purse" that holds about 5-7 cards w/envelopes.  You can use designer paper or regular cardstock.  The one I made with olive green and chocolate chip I did modify the dimensions a bit (I used an 8 1/2 x 11 piece cut in half).  What  a neat idea, thanks for the inspiration Andrea.

This card features the chalkboard technique. All the cards I have seen using this technique are soooo cool. Want to find out how to do this technique join my stamp club or host a party and I will share how to create this neat look with you.

This card features 2 new "In colors" tangerine tango and pacific point. I also used the grid technique to create this card.

This last card features baja breeze and riding hood new colors along with chocolate chip cardstock. I also used the grid technique on this card. Enjoy

I received my "box o'goodies" from SU today. It had all the new "In colors" and the awesome new scallop edge punch. I used the new punch on the card below. This card uses 3 new colors: riding hood (red), kiwi kiss (green) and pink pirouette. The pink features the new scallop edge punch. It also uses some new designer paper called Bella Rose.

Here is a little sneak peak of one of the items for my upcoming stamp camp (July 24th). It is a set of 3 3x3 cards and then the attendees will make a super cute and super easy box to put them in. It is a great gift idea. This sample shows kid cards but you could easily adapt it for anyone. Enjoy.

It is a bit difficult to see that I used the grid technique on this card, but I did, and I really like it.  It is an easy technique but I can see why people like those scor pal's.  I may have to check one of those out.  I used Blue bayou, choc. chip, western sky and ww paper.  I accented with vintage brads.  Enjoy

I have some Bali Breeze paper to use.  This dp is so pretty, I hope it makes it to the new catalog:)  I used olive and teal cs also.  I also used a felt flower and gold brad.  I used the Embrace Life set and colored the flowers in with the aqua painter and inkpads.
